After finishing her studies Bie Heyninck moved to Prague where she opened her own law firm in 1995. This law firm specialized in providing legal advice and services to Belgian and Dutch clients which were active or starting business in the Czech Republic. In 1998 she founded the current law firm.
At that time many foreign businesspeople came to the Czech Republic attracted by its central location in Europe, the well trained and educated workforce, and the excellent infrastructure. However, they very often found it hard to come to terms with a complicated legal system, the bureaucracy, and found it very tough to understand the local commercial and legal environment.
It was precisely in these areas that Bie Heyninck and her team offered a helping hand. Thanks to their lengthy experience they had acquired an in depth knowledge of the local legal system, built good relationships with the public administration and the local business environment, and created a vast network. This made the difference for Belgian and Dutch entrepreneurs wanting to obtain a foothold in the Czech market.
In the meantime Heyninck & Partners had also started working for several Czech companies which were active or starting activities in Belgium or the Netherlands.
In brief: Heyninck & Partners will gladly work with Belgian and Dutch entrepreneurs who want to invest in the Czech Republic and are looking for a partner with local experience. And vice versa. This has been the pattern for more than a decade of our successful presence in the Czech Republic
